Construction

Prior to commencing with any building work you should consider the following check list of items is complete in order to prevent delays.

 

 

CHECK LIST

  • Planning approved as required
  • Building Control drawings approved as required
  • Party Wall Award with neighbours 28 days prior to building
  • Building inspector informed 48 hours prior to building
  • Build Over Agreement with the water authority approved 
  • CDM Regulations understood by all parties
  • Staged payments confirmed and agreed
  • 20% deposit paid 21 days prior to building work starting
  • A spare copy of the approved drawing on site at all times

Next steps

We take a 20% deposit three weeks prior to work commencing so that we can order materials, hire equipment and generally prepare to hit the ground running from day 1.

 

We co-ordinate the schedule of works with our construction manager and will normally receive regular payments from you for the duration of the building schedule.

We will provide you with regular updates as the work progresses which is usually at the end of the week. If issues arise with building work which has not been expected hen we will inform you imediately and await your response. We will then continue with other work if it is at all possible to do so.

INITIAL CONSULTATION

COMMERCIAL / RETAIL

Initial / first 1 hour meeting £225 within 5 mile radius of our office.

RESIDENTIAL / EXTENSION

Initial / First 45minute meeting £65 within a 4 mile radius of our office. An additional £2.50 is charged for every subsiquant mile travelled thereafter.
