Building Regulations

What are Building Regulations?

The building regulations are a set of individual ducuments or chapters that describe in detail all the elements necessary to comply to the minimum standard for all types and sizes of building projects.

Only certain relevant sections from each chapter may be required together with the construction method, materials and some specific fixing details in order to comply with the building regulations. The Building Regulations are constantly changing and evolving and within the last few years Part L1A and Part L1B which detail the requirements for the conservation of fuel and power have been significantly updated.
